Home Interior Designer A Great Job Opportunity

I have been a fan of Home Interiors for a long time. As a twenty-five-year-old newlywed, I have spent a lot of time and given a lot of thought to the decor of my home. I have always gravitated toward ogether looks. My style is traditional-french country meets cottage living. My husband prefers a more contemporary look, and asks that I decorate with masculine colors. Nothing in our home is particularly girly. I add feminine touches here and there, mainly around the holidays.

I was introduced to the products offered through a company called Home Interiors through a woman I worked with. Her daughter (who was near to my age) was always hosting parties to obtain free merchandise. I usually make up excuses as to why I couldn't attend these parties, because I didn't want to be guilted into buying another crappy piece of home decor that I was just going to stuff into the back of my coat closet- perhaps even leaving it in the box! After several attempts to get me to a party, I agreed to at least look at the catalog. As I flipped through the pages, I was really surprised by their products. I actually found myself circling a few things I thought would look nice in my home.

It started with a few seasonal pieces here and there- a snowman stocking holder for Christmas, some planters for my deck, etc. There more I looked, the more things I found which I really wanted for my new home. We had only been married a few months, and hadn't really settled on themes for our rooms yet. I decided to give hosting a party a shot. If anything, I would end up with some new pieces for my home.

The day of the party arrived, and I was really surprised by how many of the people I invited actually showed up. Most all of them said that they had been fans of Home Interiors and their products for many, many years. The pieces that the consultant showed us were really beautiful. They ranged from framed art to candles and hurricanes. The prices ranged from very low to medium-high. This was decorating I could afford! I had my heart set on a pair of prints I saw in the catalog which incorporated the same colors of a previous product I had placed from this company. My husband agreed on warm tones in our living room: red, burnt yellow, and olive green. So many of the Home Interiors products matched our color scheme! I had such a good order total from the party I hosted that I was able to to get the prints, and several other pieces of merchandise for free! I ended up only having to pay a small amount (for an additional cash and carry item) and the tax and shipping. It was less than twenty dollars!

I received my order in less than a week, and when I took the products out of the box, I couldn't believe how good they looked! Since I ordered them for my new home in Maryland, I put them all back into their boxes, but couldn't wait to use them in my new home! When we set up house in Maryland, the pieces from Home Interiors matched all of our existing decor, and really gave our new living room a warm and cozy feel.

I decided to join the team of Home Interiors Independent Decorating Consultants because I believe in their products, and I love to decorate! This is a wonderful opportunity for young women who are just out of college, or for any woman who is looking to start her own business. I signed up for $130.00, and with that got my business supply kit, and $350.00 worth of Home Interiors merchandise for me to keep! I tried to pick products that I knew were popular, and would be easy for me to pick up and take with me to shows. You have the ability to choose your own work schedule, and have a lot of fun and make an amazing living doing something you love! All consultants keep a 45% profit! Plus, when you place a consultant order, you buy all of the products at the wholesale price, and turn around and sell it for the retail price. This is a wonderful option to those of us who host regular open houses (during holiday seasons)!
